Dr. Anthony Salandy founded the Human Development Group with a commitment to improving the social condition of children and families. Starting on Capitol Hill as an American Association for the Advancement of Science Legislative and Executive Branch Policy Fellow from 2001 to 2003, he has spent nearly 20 years working on behalf of children and families around the world. He has led large scale initiatives in philanthropy, education, and the non-profit and commercial enterprise spaces. He has successfully completed consulting engagements with SLBEs and government agencies in the East Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean. 

Dr. Salandy also spends his time volunteering with community-based organizations coaching and mentoring at-risk youth. He is a United States Track and Field (USATF) licensed track and field youth coach as well as a licensed and certified youth soccer coach.    

Dr. Salandy holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University and a B.S. in Biology from Rust College.
